MVC scenarios for BU

With just one game remaining in the Missouri Valley Conference regular season, there are still multiple scenarios determining who Bradley’s opponent will be in the 4-5 game of the Valley tournament next Friday afternoon.

Bradley will host one of three Mountain West opponents in next season’s Missouri Valley/Mountain West Challenge game at Carver Arena.

Bradley’s regular-season finale at Creighton on Feb. 27 has been set for 2:05 p.m. and won’t be televised in the Peoria area.

Bradley-ISU game a near sellout

Only Illinois State student tickets remain for Saturday afternoon’s Interstate 74 4:35 p.m. rivalry game against Bradley, an ISU ticket office employee said Thursday morning.

McCain out with hand injury

Bradley reserve guard Eddren McCain injured his right hand in practice Friday and will not dress for Saturday’s Missouri Valley Conference game against Evansville.
McCain, averaging 2.1 points and 2.0 assists this season, hurt himself when his hand became entangled with a teammate during a halfcourt scrimmage.
His status was unknown prior to the game.

Braves ranked 9th in schedule strength

Bradley is ranked ninth in today’s RPI Strength of Schedule rankings for Division I teams. The rating is based on the 16 teams the 7-9 Braves have played so far.
